Privacy Policy
Last updated: 30 October 2026
This policy explains what information is collected when you visit worththefork.com (“Worth The Fork”, “we”, “us”) and how it is used.
Information you send us
Contact form. When you use the form on our Contact page, we receive your name, your email address and your message. They are sent by email to the site owner’s inbox so we can reply, and they are not saved in the website’s database. We keep these emails only as long as we need them to deal with your message.
To limit spam, the form keeps a scrambled (hashed) version of your IP address for one hour, which it uses to count how many messages have been sent from the same connection. It is then deleted automatically.
Visitors cannot create accounts on this site, and recipe pages do not offer comments.
Information collected automatically
Hosting. The site is hosted by Hostinger. Like most web hosts, its servers and content delivery network process your IP address, browser details and the pages you request in order to deliver the site and protect it from abuse, and they may keep these details in server logs.
Fonts. Our pages load typefaces from Google Fonts. Your browser therefore connects to Google’s servers, which receive your IP address and browser details. See Google’s Privacy Policy.
We do not use analytics or advertising services, and we do not sell your personal information.
Cookies
Worth The Fork does not set advertising or analytics cookies. Our host may set one cookie:
- hcdn (worththefork.com, deleted when you close your browser): set by our host’s security system to tell real visitors from automated traffic.
People who log in to manage the site also receive standard WordPress login cookies. Visitors do not.
Your choices and requests
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and the recipes will still work. To ask what information we hold about you, or to ask us to delete a message you sent, please use the Contact page.
Changes to this policy
If we add new features that collect information, such as a newsletter or analytics, we will update this page first and change the date at the top.
